There are too many online photo storage websites-you can upload your favourite photos and share them with families,friends even strangers-like picasa,flickr,deviantart...Today,I'll introduce a similar site to you,it is also a free photo sharing site,but a little different from those I've mentioned above.It's Picuna.
The index of Picuna shows three modules:recent images,most viewed images and random images.This setting is friendly to new browsers and easy to attract them to view more.Of course,you can use navbar to find some exact categories:art,fashion,greetings...as many as you like.When you enter into a photo page,you can do four things:leave a comment,lightbox it,download it or postcard it.Wow,yeah,postcard it!Means you can use this pic to do a self-made postcard and then send your greetings to whom you love.It's a weird function,isn't it?On the making-postcard-page,you can custom font color,font face,headline and message,then fill the blank with your name and email address,recipient's name and email address and sent it.that's done!
Picuna is a typical socialized site,only when users becoming more and more,the site itself will be funnier and funnier.Register a account is very easy,just 3 steps:first,click "joinnow" button,enter into the register page;second,fill out some blanks-your username,password,email and other information;at last,submit.Now,you can store your images free and share them with others and view others' photos and collect.Upload photos is easy,use the upload link on your dashboard,then choose a name and category and select the photos from your hard disc.You can also link your photos to a gallery or group gallery. Optionally you can add a description and some tags.To locate your photos on the map click on the coordinates search link to search for the longitude and latitude.
Another feather is galleries and groups.You can browse galleries and groups on index page's tab.With galleries you can organize your photos,after creating a gallery you can link your photos to this gallery;Group Galleries are designed to share photos of the same topic,after creating a group gallery everyone can link photos to this gallery.Gallery and Group orgazine your photos better.
